Re: your favorite
Fri, April 27, 2007 - 12:55 PMI'm a huge fan of the Patti Smith group, and more recently I love Bikini Kill. There is also a special place in my heart for Blondie, even though they aren't thought of as punk as much nowadays. -
-
Re: your favorite
Fri, April 27, 2007 - 8:26 PMIsn't it strange how some groups are not seen as very punk anymore, when most groups likely were influenced by them? I still think Nina Hagen was pretty much the queen of punk, and well some people just don't see it. (why, no clue)
Same goes for the un-girl group The Kinks, several bands just ripped them right off (riff for riff) and few even know enough to tell. -
