Not everyone is required to talk in here and a majority won't so it is better if we do not sit around and try to get them to do so. This tribe was dead for awhile, now it is mostly used to announce upcoming concerts. Which is fine by me, as long as it is girl punk and not some hybred. I'd rather no talk fairly often than have an assload of off topic talk in here. -

Wed, February 22, 2006 - 4:09 PMIt can be hard to set up a collection, most of my music was on vinyl or tapes (either mixed or bought). I only have a small ammount of cds because they've always been overly pricey.

I had that card down word for word which is why in 95 I was the only kid that left campas with a vandelled yearbook.
As for the buzzcocks, I have one of their shirts, which I had no idea I did because I found it in my old play room...almost threw it out. heh...till I read "uk sucks and buzzcocks on the front. ha.
So what are you writing that for anyways? -

Mon, March 6, 2006 - 10:09 AMin my first year of law school. persuasive writing and research class (basically learning how to formulate legal arguments and will present oral arguments at end of the term). ironically i was made to argue the prosecution's side. i am a defense thinker through and through. difficult, challending yet very rewarding. the whole notion of wearing the oppositions hat to perfect an argument and anticipate the counterarguments...
actually fascinating... all of it. i've been working at the public defender's office for some time now and there is a huge disconnect without the legal background and yet the books don't provide an incline of what the work entails. glad I know this is what i want to do before going into shotloads of debt. plus this really is the best way for me to infiltrate the system and make some incrimental change (even if it takes me my whole damn life).
oh yes -
i almost threw out a t-shirt that was my brothers. i looked closer and realized it was a minor threat screen printed shirt that he made when he was 11 y.o. and skating with Ian McCay in DC. AGES ago. I can't believe the material isn't transparent yet. i love that t-shirt. keeping it forever. glad you didn't toss your buzzcocks. eek. -
